Some of the Washington Elite that feel that they are without sin felt it appropriate to chastise and humiliate Toyota this week in our nation’s capitol. Now don’t get me wrong I think it is sickening that a car company would put profits over customer safety, however I think it’s even more sickening the type of circus our federal government is performing because of this fiasco.

WASHINGTON -- Under blistering criticism, Toyota President Akio Toyoda personally and repeatedly apologized to Congress and millions of anxious American car-owners Wednesday for deadly defects in popular models produced by his Japanese company. But angry lawmakers forcefully declared it was hardly enough.
"I extend my sincerest condolences to them from the bottom of my heart," responded Toyoda, grandson of the founder of the world's largest auto company. "I'm deeply sorry for any accident that Toyota drivers have experienced."
"Where is the remorse?" scolded Democratic Rep. Marcy Kaptur. And Republican John Mica held aloft what he called an "absolutely appalling" Toyota report bragging of defusing a safety investigation.
I heard members of the committee say that Toyota has failed their customers…well I say to Congress: YOU HAVE FAILED THE AMERICAN PEOPLE! Congress has ignored us…ridiculed us…they have taken us down the path of socialism and now they dare to go after Toyota for their wrongdoings sitting in there Capitol Hill thrones like Gods that are above sin. You see my fellow patriots it isn’t the actual investigation that bothers me even though I think it’s a waste of taxpayer time and money when they can be addressing more pressing issues. These hearings are a joke offering the people of the civilized world more proof of their arrogance. For those of you that haven’t opened your eyes yet all I can ask you now is what more do you need?

The American Collapse, A Time for Real Change
Americans are not idiots by any means. We may get caught up in the turmoil of our daily lives, but most of us can understand what is going on in this country today. The bottom line is this friends, my fellow patriots, is that we are near a global economic and political crisis and eventual collapse. Most of the western nations are showing signs of collapsing and changing their style of government. Will they look at the governmental structure of America as an example of a system that works? No they will look towards China and they will see a system that is making their nation strong and viable. If the countries of the western world are not careful they will have a form of Chinese communism taking over their people. Here in America that future is not that far behind I fear. We have a progressive movement here…a progressive line of thinking that creates a socialistic style of government, a nanny style government that will take care of the people instead of the people taking care of themselves. The progressive movement uses the governments of the western world as a model; they have been for years now, the same western world governments that are falling apart today. Our President campaigned in 2008 talking about the necessities of change in our government and I have to say he was right. We do need change, but my friends the change we need is not Obama’s change by any means. The only solution that America needs now is a return to traditional values and our founding principles. I hate to say it to the progressives, but like it or not it was a strong sense of traditions, faith in a higher power, a solid moralistic code, and hard work and determination that formed this nation and created a style of government that created the third longest lasting form of government in all of world history. The Constitution of the United States, a timeless document that will continue to work for generations if honored, solidifies those ideals and principles. Liberty and freedom are not just words my friends they are a way of life and you can say what you want about how America got in to this situation in the first place, but it was because we turned our back on the principles and values of the Founding Fathers.
One thing that we can agree on is that without the involvement of Founding Fathers like George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and Benjamin Franklin the nation we are today would not exist. If you go back and read the writings they left behind they make references to giving thanks to God, strong principles, and equally strong personal values. They credit all of that for this country’s success. Today we have traded God in society for immoral ideals. We have traded strong principles for the weakness of political correctness and borderline socialistic ideals. We have turned in our founding principles for greed and corruption. Before the issues of today can be fixed like the economy, healthcare, or terrorism we need to solidify the foundation of this great Republic once again and re-affirm our allegiance to the way of life that made this nation great in the first place. Once the foundation is strong again then we can tackle any issue that faces us as a nation correctly and efficiently.
I know that times are tough for all of us in all walks of life. We face a dangerous recession with (despite what we are being told) a great danger of economic collapse. History has taught us over and over again that when life is difficult the masses tend to turn to anyone that promises they can fix the problems and make life good again. In a sense that is what happened in 2008 with the election of Barrak Obama. He promised us hope and change and the masses fell for his message without realizing what he really meant by hope and change. Now with the democrats in power with progressive liberals steering the ship we face an out of control budget plunging us into a debt so huge we may never get out of it without serious consequences. By placing these people in power we have seen the government grow larger and take over private industry. They are trying to ram their socialistic ideals down our throats and when we speak up against them they ignore us, ridicule us, and target we the people as a threat to the safety of this nation. Serious damage has been done and we must start to take steps to change or the great American Republic our Founding Fathers created will be nothing more than a notation in the history books.
You can think what you want of me. You can attack what I am saying and me. I am not hiding I am standing right out in the open ready for the attacks from the progressives. This is what I see and I am not alone. The governments of the western world are on the verge of collapse. Their governments became too large for their own good. Their national debts are so out of control that even if they cut government spending their national economies will crumble. Because of all of this they are so close to following the wrong leaders and creating new forms of government that draw their inspiration from communist China. The countries I am talking about like Greece and Spain are the very countries the progressives here in America liked to cite when selling us their socialistic plans. We are on the same path as those western governments and America will collapse and fall if we do not take action to fix this now before it is too late. I am not a conspiracy theorist or paranoid. I am a realist that wants to be prepared for the battle ahead of us. Now I know that many of us have become more involved. We have made the phone calls, wrote the letters, attended the rallies, etc. and plan to continue to do so. I fear that is not enough. We can no longer be the Tea Party groups, the 9.12 groups, or whatever other little organizations have formed. We need to become united once again under a conservative banner and bring forth strong leadership to take us into battle. We need the weapons of the truth and facts. We need the weapons of our voices and our votes. We need to get more involved and talk with more and more people. The truth will reach those that are still on the fence, but we are up against the mainstream media and their bias news reporting so we must become louder! We must become more persistent. Even though it may seem hopeless just remember it seemed impossible for a ragged band of rebels would ever defeat the most powerful empire in the world at the time, but with faith and determination our Founding Fathers overcame the odds and gave us freedom. Do not forget my friends that the liberty and freedom our Founders gave us isn’t cheap. It comes with a price. That price is sacrifice to protect our rights. Instead of watching your favorite TV shows attend an online meeting or get involved locally with the groups. Talk with family, friends, and neighbors. Forget staying on top of you favorite online games and research and learn about what is happening in our nation and learn more about our Constitution and history. The progressives are dangerous and persistent with their movement. We must be just as persistent. If not then one day we will wake up and find ourselves slaves to tyranny. When I was a child in school I said every morning the pledge of Allegiance. I remember it very very clearly. “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. And to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty, and justice for all.” When I was a child it was just words…now today since I can really appreciate the true meaning of those words it has become a way of life. My friends I beg you to open your eyes. I beg you to realize the very real danger we now face. I beg you to join with me in this journey to make America the strong nation that she once was.

The Reason I Am Fighting...
The main reason...the driving force on why I am fighting for the Republic, the Constitution, and our freedoms....

It is their future I am worried about...I want them to live in a world where morals, traditions, honor, respect, hard work, and freedoms are more than just words.

Hopes for 2010
Hello fellow patriots and thanks for stopping by my new blog here at blogger. I have been blogging off and on for awhile on other sites, but now with 2010 in full swing and our government out of control it is time to buckle down and create a weekly blog to go hand in hand with my site www.michaeljmaxim.com and conservative internet radio talk show at www.blogtalkradio.com/michaeljmaxim to live true to my show tagline. I have claimed that I will lead the new revolution by example and that is fully what I intend to do. At the end of last year and the first part of this year I figured I would set that type of example by running against my current representative in Congress on a platform of patriotism. I am a realist and knew that I wouldn't win, however I did hope to cause enough waves for the media to really take notice. Well due to lack of funding and not really being ready I ended my campaign in January and started a new role as a political activist. I find this more refreshing since I can voice my opinion and not have the pressures of a campaign on my shoulders. Last month we launched the internet radio show which is starting to take off and created our website. All of this at this point are works in progress. They are getting better to say the least. I will be posting many opinion pieces soon with a goal of at least one a week here on the blog and I plan on being actively part of events throughout the year. At this point I need your help to spread the word. Now is the most crucial time in America we have ever faced. Progressives and liberals seek nothing less than to change America into a nanny state where our freedoms are almost non-existent. Spread the word, get involved, and fight the good fight with me!
