(06-05) 13:26 PDT OAKLAND -- Oakland police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 50-year-old man on busy High Street, officials said.
At 2:21 p.m. Saturday, officers responding to a report of a possible shooting on the 2900 block of High Street found the victim suffering from a single gunshot wound, said Officer Holly Joshi, a department spokeswoman.
Leo Dunson, a city resident, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have made no arrests and do not yet know why Dunson was killed.
