On Saturday April 16th the Cleveland TEA Party Patriots are hosting their 3rd Annual Tax Day TEA Party in Voinovich Park. The event starts at 11 AM and will continue on until 1 PM with a lineup of speakers and guests with the purpose to raise awareness of what is really wrong in the government and what the people can do to fix it. In a time of political turmoil it seems and an on-going economic crisis in this country events like these seem to give the people a glimmer of hope that politicians will take notice and change the way they play the political game.
Guests listed to appear at the event are as follows. Former State Representative Seth Morgan tops the list and is no stranger to TEA party events. He now works as a political activist in the state of Ohio. He is joined by Mike Carry of the Ohio Coal Association who is expected to talk about how EPA regulations affect jobs here in Ohio. Tom Zawistowski, the executive director of the Portage County TEA party will also be on hand to discuss the upcoming first annual TEA party convention in Ohio. Eric Golub conservative columnist/author/comedian, Matt Brakey former County council candidate, Al Wilson Cleveland District Coordinator for the People’s Constitution Coalition of Ohio, and Theodore Wilson II military veteran/activist round out the rest of the guest speakers scheduled to appear. Music will also be provided by Déjà Voodoo Band.
The message of this event seems to be raising awareness of how EPA regulations are limiting job growth here in Ohio and reinforce the TEA party message of liberty and freedom for the American people. The event is free and offers information tables as well of other TEA party groups, 9.12 groups, and activists in the Northeast Ohio area.
