My question is this…what the hell happened to America? A nation founded on freedom of speech…a nation that once took pride in it’s ability to discuss ideas, thoughts, opinions, and issues freely? Since before we declared our independence there were opposing views on what type of nation we would be if we succeeded from English rule. After many years our founders finally came up with the Constitution and the Bill of Rights mixing all those opinions and ideas together. Was the end result perfect? No it had kinks, but over time through open discussion and debate America slowly fixed those problems and became stronger. The key there is open discussion and debate. The ability to freely explore and issue and all of it’s sides to come to a conclusion that was the best possible for all sides. Granted the political game over time favored some sides in a solution more than others, but the basic premise and idea behind freedom of speech worked and can still work today…only if America and it’s politicians allow it to happen. Unfortunately today in America the freedom of discussion and debate on issues have been under attack.
You see something has taken root in American society. We know it as political correctness, but what it really is under the covers of P.C. is the Marxist inspired concept of Critical Thinking, a socialistic technique to change society at it’s root beliefs thus using the people of that society itself to destroy the very freedoms that once made them great. Ever since Rep. King announced the congressional hearings on the radicalization of Islam and it’s links to terrorism aimed at America we have seen the overall effects of political correctness at it’s finest. Before I start getting in the hearings themselves and the uproar that surrounds them I want to ask everyone in America this question…when did all of us get so spineless, so thin skinned that we cannot see a problem staring us right in the face! I know many of us have awakened and see the problem for what it really is, but that has little effect on a nation that refuses to call an attack on our nation and it’s beliefs for what it is…an attack from ISLAMIC EXTREMISTS THAT FOLLOW SHARIA LAW!
This was not an attack on religion or our Constitutional right to freedom of religion…this was addressing the problem we face today from Islamic radicals. Now I took time out to do my show and came in at the tail end of the hearings, but I did see a slight argument where a democratic representative was screaming about investigating the KKK as well if these hearings true intent was to investigate terrorism in America. I thought that was funny since the democrat party of old were instrumental in forming the KKK, but that’s another discussion for another day. Fact of the matter is even though the KKK ideology is offensive and does promote violence in America I think there is just one small difference here. The KKK didn’t hijack planes and kill thousands by destroying the Twin Towers years ago. They were not planning suicide attacks daily on innocent Americans. I would welcome hearings of this nation and all the fanatical groups that push for violence against the innocent, but the fact of the matter is that Islamic terrorism proves to be a greater threat to America and the world at this point in time than the KKK. Sorry if that offends someone, but that’s how I see it.
Now many have been vocal about how these hearings target all Muslims. They are a witch hunt against those that practice Islam. We are heading back to the McCarthy era and if these type of racist hearings continue then we will see camps again in America like we saw during WWII after the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. Give me a frickin’ break people. Anyone with a small level of intelligence and common sense can clearly see the motivation behind this hearing today! They did not target Muslims they targeted Muslim extremists plain and simple. I do realize that emotions are high around this issue on both sides and we do have to be very careful not to turn this into a misguided crusade against those that practice Islam peacefully. There are many out there and several Islamic groups speaking out against those radicals out their using their religion as an excuse to commit acts of evil. Unfortunately they cannot get the exposure needed in the liberal controlled media.
I watched as much as I could and other than when the left opened their mouths I didn’t find anything that was offensive or “evil”. We even saw representatives from the Muslim community speaking out and asking for help to spread awareness of the danger of Islamic radicals! Members of the Muslim community that spoke out against Sharia law and those that are trying to spread it in America. They spoke out against those that use their religion to commit mass murder. They believe in Islam, but see it’s violent history and teachings as wrong and want their religion as a whole to understand that concept. The hearing today was necessary and I hope a step in the right direction here in America.
One public citizen today said in his statement that he has seen terrorism against America called everything, but what it really is. He called for America to start talking openly and candidly about the problem of Islamic radicals and stated that even at times some may find the discussions offensive and hurtful, but they had to happen to really solve the problems. He is right. It’s time to wake up people!
Sharia law and those Islamic radicals that want to change the world to a Islamic Sharia governed world are dangerous. Read the Quran and the teachings of Muhammad. It calls for violence and death. Have you not seen the videos of women being beaten and stoned to death? Have you not seen the beheadings? Have you not read the news about Christians being hunted down and brutally murdered in mass amounts by Sharia following Muslims? Have you not seen the videos and read the statements from those Sharia following Islamic radicals declaring war on America and the non-muslim world? When are you going to realize the problem…when the stones are slamming against your bodies or when you see the sword coming down towards your neck? Because that’s exactly what is going to happen around the world if this problem is ignored and we allow the Islamic extremists soft-sell us a fairy story of how tolerant and great Sharia law is! The more ground we surrender to them in America the faster their take over will be. If we don’t’ wake up, and have the guts to take these radicals head on then we will see a WWIII…but this time it will not be nation against nation it will be a religious war of Islamic radicals against everyone else…and at the rate they are going I see that becoming a reality and not a paranoid delusion that the left would claim it to be. Our enemy is hiding in plain sight….it’s time to focus on them and stop being so weak.
