Bill Would Create Loophole In Obama Overhaul

Ralph’s Note: The elected politicians in Tennessee have carried out the will of the people, by stopping the unconstitutional, and illegal obamacare legislation. We didn’t want the act, and now it has been stopped. Now we need to work on replacing it with something which has the ability to make medical care a sustainable commodity.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — House lawmakers passed the Tennessee Health Freedom Act on Monday.

The bill passed 70-27. It gives Tennesseans the option to opt out of President Barack Obama’s new health care law.It now goes to Gov. Bill Haslam to sign.The companion to the Health Freedom Act passed the Senate on a 21-10 party-line vote last month.Sponsors said the legislation doesn’t argue for or against the federal law but just gives Tennesseans a choice.”I think the message to the federal government is, ‘We don’t like your mandate. We don’t like you telling us we have to buy your product,’” said Sen. Mae Beavers.The new federal health care law requires Americans either to buy health insurance or pay a penalty, beginning in 2014. Federal judges have come down differently on the requirement.Obama has said people would be able to keep their health care plan
