New Year Thoughts

Well it's here...2011...feels strange to type all of that. It seems that it wasn't that far back where people were waiting for the computer crash of the year 2000! It's funny how time flies and that so much has happened in that time. My life has changed so much from the year 2000. So many personal ups and downs, so much that I cherish in my life has happened in the past 10 years and so much that I regret. I haven't always made the best choices in my life, but they were choices all the same. Oh well as the song goes that's life.
However I wish I could sit here and type this with high hopes for the future. Unfortunately I do not have any really if you want me to be honest. Our country is in political turmoil to say the least and it's broken to what seems to be beyond repair. Yes more people are now awake than ever, but I fear it's too late. All the TEA parties and rallies come too late. I fear the damage is done and all we can do as a nation is rally together once again and pick up the pieces. I recently started to read the history about the decline of the Roman empire and when you compare that history to what is happening today the future looks grim. It is my prediction that if the entire country isn't turned around by 2012 the Mayans may be right...but it wouldn't be the end of the world, but the end of the American Republic. You may laugh and call me a doomsday-er, but to me the signs are clear as day. I fear America will collapse and a second Revolution is on the horizon, but this time it will be those that still believe in the Great Experiment of our Republic against those that one global socialism for whatever reason. Regardless our future is a long and dark road ahead and we must be prepared for the worst.
Over the holiday season I had a few conversations with family about the future of this country. We are all concerned in one way or the other and we all discovered that we agreed that the worst is a strong possibility in the near future here in America. We pinpointed a possible turning point in the history of this country that allowed all of this damage to be done. Simply put the idea of socialism would be outright rejected by the average American in the past so it worked int he shadows. I won't go one and on talking about critical theory (a.k.a. political correctness) and how they did it I will just get to the point. At one time our Founding Fathers and generations since would gather in pubs and town halls and talk politics and religion. Then the idea of keeping the peace by avoiding discussing politics and religion came about. We stopped talking. We stopped sharing our thoughts and ideas. We in "We The People" were no longer allowing ourselves our God given right to govern our republic. We became self absorbed and too trusting in the politicians to govern us. They took the ball and ran with it. Now we are talking again and the first step to changing the course of the ship is to continue to talk again. We need to go further and not just talk amongst ourselves but we need to start talking to those that have not opened their eyes to the many problems we face today as a nation. You will be attacked and ridiculed hell I have been, but keep going. That's the secret. Stop being so thin skinned and speak up! Screw political correctness because all that is is social Marxism at it's finest. That is how we are controlling things we think and say.
Wake up people. Life isn't fair. There are people that are more successful than you. People that are rich and there will always will be. It's called life and at times it isn't fair. You cannot punish people for being successful and make them by force to take care of those that don't have the desire to fight for a better life or take risks in life. Some people have better advantages than others....big deal that's the way it is. Life is what you make of it and everyone in this country with enough hard work and balls to take risks can rise on the social ladder. Every race and religion has some dark mark on their pasts that can be considered horrible. Our first instincts would be to say that they are entitled to something to make up for that horrible past against them...but enough is enough. We need to put all of that aside and rise up as Americans and reclaim our country as a free Republic. It can happen, but will it if the masses stay in the dark?
Another thing we need to do is re-establish our faith in God. We are a Judea-Christian nation and it WAS through the grace of God we became a free nation. Our society has degenerated generation after generation so bad that now if you turn on the TV you will see a show about some sexual perversion after another. We need to strengthen our relationship with God and re-establish the morals, principles, and values that are the foundation of our Constitution. If we do not then our fate will seem like the Tower of Babel or Sodom and Gamora! I'm not trying to preach because I'm not perfect, but if we don't clean up the smut and degradation of what today's society says is normal we have a snowball'c chance in hell to safe our country's future. The answer is so simple it's right in front of our faces, but do we really choose to see it.
In short all I have to say is this...we need to get on the right path or we are doomed. Plain and simple. IT's a dark road ahead...are you prepared to walk it?
