My Thoughts on the Death of Osama Bin Laden - Associated Content from Yahoo! - associatedcontent.com

As the day went on and more and more about the death of Osama Bin Laden came out in the mainstream media and on the internet I have to say I'm at the point to where I don't know what to think and how to feel
about all of this. When the rush of emotions hit me yesterday I was overjoyed. I ran outside to display my flag proudly that I had taken down due to the bad weather in Northeast Ohio. I didn't care. Nothing at this point was to squash my sense of patriotism and how proud I felt of Navy Seal Team 6 for risking it all to go in and put an end to the reign of terrorism Osama Bin Laden brought not just to America, but the world. I was high as a kite -- then President Obama spoke.

He stood there at the podium reading from his teleprompter in the East Room delivering a very good sounding speech. I wondered secretly to myself -- "did he get a new speech writer". Then that's when it happened like a bolt of lightning I knew was going to strike. Obama took the credit for everything. It was his top priority he said when he first took office. He was given the information on the location of Bin Laden and decided to act. He signed the order for the Navy Seal 6 team to proceed with the carefully laid out plan to capture or kill the international terrorist that was on the FBI's most wanted list for about a decade now. After he signed the order to have American soldiers put their lives on the line he went golfing, but that came out later in the mainstream media. Granted he gave a little nod to Navy Seal Team 6 and President Bush for their efforts, but the overall impression he gave the world was this was his gig. He did it all with no regrets and no remorse. Give the order to kill Bin laden and shoot nine holes -- that's Obama.
