The upcoming ballot in Georgia may look different if the state legislation of the ‘birther’ issue is passed. In Georgia, CBS is reporting Wednesday, the legislation that requires proof of a birth certificate of a presidential candidate is the latest measure that is indirectly targeting President Barack Obama.
Georgia is the latest state to propose legislation that wants more proof before a name is put on the ballot. Other states that have included the same type of bill includes Arizona, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, Connecticut, Indiana, Tennessee and Maine.
In one would call one of the biggest celebrities known in America (since he is the President who has books, speaking engagements, college commencements, seen on talk shows and can be informally introduced with one name) the issue isn’t just about where he was born but how people are looking to take him down (which is pretty disrespectful if you ask us.)
According to CBS news, this isn’t just about politics; it is about the action of taking down the current man in charge. Since it is the President of the united States, one has to wonder just how respectful these lawmakers are after proof of the birth certificate was provided before Barack came into office.
"Most people feel it's an issue to a significant enough portion of our population that it needs to be addressed by the state,'' Georgia Rep. Mark Hatfield said. "It is, in a sense, a response to ... the sitting president and his inability or unwillingness to release his original birth certificate.''
While President Barack Obama has plenty of critics about where he is born, this tone of going after him about an issue put to rest is something every celebrity faces. People become consumed and jealous to take down a bigger known individual all because they feel inadequate. There are plenty of stars that have fallen from grace by a simple inappropriate phrase or action that had dire consequences.
This issue of putting together a Birth Certificate bill after the call to action has been satisfied isn’t just politics, it is a mindset of people who aren’t happy with the way they live and need to beat up a celebrity to feel superior. That is definitely why so many celebrities in Hollywood need extra security as there are so many people looking to tear them down.
