It is time my fellow patriots of Ohio's 10th Congressional District to expose our representative as the progressive democrat that he is. We must wake up Northeast Ohio and show them the truth about this power hungry camera hog that claims to work in our best interests! Notice his across the board support for abortion and his votes on bills that contribute to our national debt. All he cares about is power...why else does he abandon his district for failed attempts at the presidency? Why else does he jump at the chance to speak on camera? It's time to wake up Ohio and remove this lunatic from office! Join with me to expose this progressive monster for what he really is!

The Mosque at Ground Zero and Islam in America
Today I did a special 30 minute episode on the Mosque at Ground Zero and talked alittle about Islam and Muslims in America. I didn’t really have enough time on today’s show to get in-depth on the issue and was often clouded by the rush of emotions I felt talking about the events of that horrible day on Sept. 11, 2001. Like I said on the show I am torn into two different directions on this issue. I take great pride in my Christian values and my strong belief in upholding the Constitution as the law of the land. These two attributes of my character have torn me into two different directions on the issue of the ground zero mosque. First and foremost let me state that the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, grants all Americans the freedom of religion and expression. Thus is it really the right thing to do to try to stop a mosque from being built anywhere on American soil. No I don’t think it’s right to do just that. Our Founding Fathers very well might have said the same thing. By doing so violates the Constitution of the United States of America. However the location of the mosque is an emotional one to say the least for many Americans especially those that lost their loved ones on that horrible day. The United States was blatantly attacked by terrorists flying under the banner of Islam. They used their religion as an excuse to take life. To build a mosque at that location is a slap in the face to all of us Americans. The issue here is the lack of respect. Out of respect they should not build the mosque in that location plain and simple. However the harsh reality of this world proves one thing and one thing only the term respect has very little meaning in America anymore. That’s the true issue here. Is it legal for them to do so, well as long as they do everything by the book and do not violate any city or state building codes or laws then yes it is legal. Does it offend people because it’s a blatant act of respect…surely it does.
Unfortunately there are many peaceful respectful Muslims out there in America. They have proven just that during the events of 9/11 and they are caught in the middle of this whole mess. As difficult as it may be we must look past the emotions and the feelings of hatred and racism in this issue and judge people by their character not by the actions of the extreme factions of their religion. We must think things through with a clear head instead of promote violence towards and entire religion just because of a few bad apples. I know that using a term like that might show some level of minimizing the events and the dangers surrounding the extreme factions of Islam, but in a sense it is true. I have to think about my co-worker and friend who just happens to be Muslim. I judge him by his character and not his religion. He is just like me in a sense. He comes to work, some does doesn’t want to be there. He works hard just to put food on his table and is concerned about the future of this country. He doesn’t understand much about the inner workings of politics in this country, but he knows that we are going in a dangerous direction. We have talked about his country, culture, and religion on many occasions and he talks about his homeland fondly, however he also talks like an American. He talks about coming over here for a better life, and better opportunities for his family and children. I have never heard him utter a single harsh word ever. Some of us say we hate our job he usually says he just doesn’t want to be at work that day. He has his faults just like the rest of us and doesn’t like the fact that the terrorists that they talk about on the news promote racism towards people in his religion. He also admits that there are extreme factions in his religion and does not support their cause. He is offended that they use his religion as an excuse to commit wrongdoings in the world. In a sense he has helped me realize that there are good people that just happen to be Muslim. However make no mistake the extreme factions exist and pose a danger to the free world. We must be careful and chose our battles carefully and make sure that they are truly justified. We must look past the feelings of hatred and bigotry and make sure that we judge people on actions and merit and not on race or religion.
The bottom line is this…a radical Muslim threat is very real and we need to be on our guard. IF you look at the website for Park 51 (the ground zero mosque) you will see terms in their mission statement like empowerment and social justice. All red flags in my book. Ironically if you look at the Park 51 website it doesn’t look like a website that promotes a Muslim place of worship. A true place of worship would have no problem saying what they are, but these Muslims that are backing this disrespectful ground zero mosque are hiding something plain and simple and because of that they need to be on guard. Bloomberg says that they will reach out to the community. Are they trying to battle the racial injustices that peaceful Muslims face or are they trying to spread like weeds in the garden of freedom. These questions still remain, and I think the opposition against them is justified. All I can say is this my friends. Keep your wits about you and use common sense. Do not get baited into a race war over this. That may be their intentions after all. Choose our battles carefully. Protest the mosque in New York not the mosque across town. Protest and counteract the actions of the powerful Muslims in the New York community that are slapping America in the face not the Muslims that may live down the street. My faith teaches me to turn the other cheek and love thy neighbor. At times emotions come into play and it is difficult to do so, but we must pray for the strength to do just that. DO not be silent on this issue by any means, but like I said use common sense.

Political Correctness Chapter of my book "Silent No Longer"
Chapter 4: Political Correctness the Beginning of the End
“People have lost their sense of humor,” Eastwood said. “In former times we constantly made jokes about different races. You can only tell them today with one hand over your mouth or you will be insulted as a racist.”
“I find that ridiculous,” he continued. “In those earlier days every friendly clique had a ‘Sam the Jew’ or ‘Jose the Mexican,’ but we didn’t think anything of it or have a racist thought. It was just normal that we made jokes based on our nationality or ethnicity. That was never a problem. I don’t want to be politically correct.” (Clint Eastwood from and interview with the Daily Express)
What Clint Eastwood was referring too was the dangers of political correctness. He was talking about how humor has suffered since the progressives have decided to push for political correctness instead of good old common sense. I want to take the time right now to thank him for taking such a stand! I don’t want to be politically correct either because to put it quite simply political correctness as we have it today is damning our society. Clint Eastwood is right about the humor in today’s society. Let me ask you would we have a show like All in the Family on the air today? It lasted from 1971 to 1979 and those of you that have seen it (which I assume that is most of you) know the issues it tackled. I have never met a bigot as bad as Archie Bunker, but the show was popular because it used the character to bring to light topics that needed to be addressed in comedic ways. To put it mildly Archie was racist and some of the things we laughed at in the show were down right wrong, but still it is ranked number 4 in TV Guides 50 Greatest TV Shows of All Time and the show ranked #1 in the yearly Nielsen ratings from 1971 to 1976 being one of the only shows to top the ratings for at least five consecutive seasons. Even today his chair from the set sites on display in a museum in Washington D.C. however for years I have not seen the shows replayed in re-runs anywhere on television at least in my area. Why? Political correctness I suspect.
I will put my beliefs plain and simple so the left can understand. Political correctness violates our first amendment right to freedom of speech. Even though I am not racist it is my right to be in non-violent ways. I find it disgusting and wrong to be racist, but it is my right to not like someone for whatever reason. It is my right to tell a racist joke if I please. As long as I don‘t act out in violent ways and break the law in that aspect when expressing myself I can do so because we are supposed to have freedom of speech. I can say this because I take great pride in having compassion and common sense. It is ignorant to be racist and to dislike someone based of skin color, gender, or religion. It is wrong to purposely hurt someone’s feelings for the sake of a quick laugh. Common sense tells us that we must live our lives with dignity and respect. However I would like to add that a person must earn respect not just be given it automatically. At times I feel in this day and age being Caucasian we must automatically respect all minorities. In my life I have known people off all kinds and let me tell you they were my friends and I had respect for them because they earned it and because I earned their friendship and trust. That is how it works.
There is a fine line between political correctness and respect. It has been blurred so much today that I don’t think that line exists anymore. How did all this happen…how did political correctness come about to change our society for the worst? The progressives in this country slowly snuck it in below the radar fighting for what was right. First for women’s rights to secure it’s foundation then unleashing the ultimate attack under the civil right’s movement of the 60’s. Please don’t misunderstand me here I’m not against women’s rights and what the civil right’s movement stood for, but what they accomplished was used and eventually abused to include the more controlling concept of political correctness. All of this while we sat by not realizing the destructive movement that was taking control of our lives. Before we go on let’s really take a look at what political correctness really means and how it was used throughout history.
According to Wikipedia the term Political Correctness is defined as follows:
Political correctness (adjectivally, politically correct; both forms commonly abbreviated to PC) a term which denotes language, ideas, policies, and behavior seen as seeking to minimize social and institutional offense in occupational, gender, racial, cultural, sexual orientation, disability, and age-related contexts. In current usage, the term is primarily pejorative, while the term politically incorrect has been used as an implicitly positive self-description. Examples of the latter include the conservative or libertarian Politically Incorrect Guides published by the Regnery editorial house and the television talk show Politically Incorrect. In these cases, the term politically incorrect connotes (or attempts to connote) language, ideas, and behavior unconstrained by a perceived orthodoxy and concerns about giving offense to or expressing bias regarding various groups of people.
A term that denotes language, ideas, policies, and behavior seen as offensive…kind of vague and can easily be used to cover anything huh? After all I find people that wear pajama pants out in public offensive to me personally. Maybe I should call the ACLU and start a political correct movement to start to make it taboo to wear pajama pants out in public. Sounds stupid doesn’t it well there you go that’s political correctness. However it is much more dangerous than that. If you dive into the history of political correctness you will find it’s Marxist origins. The current modern form of political correctness was carefully designed to attack the Western world and the Christian religion. Unfortunately it is working.
To really understand the dangers of Political Correctness one must look deep into history. The term itself comes from a comic strip, but the movement is no laughing matter. It’s origins can be traced back to World War I and the early attempts to spread communism. The Marxist plans were not working and it was the two Marxist theorists Antonio Gramsci in Italy and Georg Lukacs in Hungary who went to work on a solution. Their results pointed to one conclusion and that was to destroy the influence of the Western/Christian world. As many of us know the whole concept of communism creates the concept of the whole instead of the individualists. The Western world promotes and protects the individual. So to spread communism one must eliminate the rights and freedoms of the individual. Thus the birth of the concept of political correctness.
Starting in 1923 in Germany, a group of Marxist theorists begin translating Marxism from economic into cultural terms, a.k.a. Political Correctness as we know it today. Now throw the son of a millionaire German trader named Felix Weil into the mix as a Marxist with an open checkbook. He sponsored something called the First Marxist Work Week, where he brings Lukacs and many of the key German thinkers together to work on this new concept. With the help of Lukacs they create an institute, which was associated with Frankfurt University, which was supposed to be the Institute for Marxism. However they knew that in order to accomplish their goals they could not be openly associated with Marxism, so they named it The Institute of Social Research. The history and intention of the institute is quite clear when researched.
The Marxist ideas of political correctness, or Critical Theory as the institute refers to it as, really became what it is today in the 1930’s when Marxist renegade Max Horkheimer took over the institute. Horkheimer and the Marxists at Frankfurt University were so radical they were considered renegades by the Marxist party itself and the party distanced themselves from their work! They were so far left the Marxists didn’t want to have anything to do with them and these guys created the political correctness that we know today. You can’t tell me that there is any good in being politically correct I mean it can‘t be good at all if the communists wouldn‘t touch it with a ten foot pole!
Horkheimer and his fellow Marxists decided to take the Marxist ideas on economics and translating it into cultural terms. He was very interested in the work of Sigmund Freud so by combining the two set of ideas they refined the end product into what they called Critical Theory. So what exactly is Critical Theory? Wikipedia defines it as:
Critical theory is the examination and critique of society and culture, drawing from knowledge across the social sciences and humanities.
To put it simply Critical Theory is to criticize everything in society and culture to destroy the society or culture in question. It’s target is the Western civilization. It does this very effectively by using the Marxist ideas as the base combining it with the repressive theories of Freud and other well known psychologists. When looking closely at the women’s lib movement and the civil rights movements you can see Critical Theory at it’s finest! I’m not undermining the importance of these movements and how they addressed injustices, but you can clearly see that Critical Theory attaches itself to a serious problem and exploits it…uses it to implement changes far to drastic and detrimental for our own good. The progressives today use it very well to their advantage.
Critical Theory is the main weapon of the left in this country. We haven’t heard the term used before when talking about the far left because in true progressive fashion they changed the name and called it Political Correctness, a term that isn’t taken very seriously by most Americans today. We have seen examples of it firsthand in our society. Affirmative action is a prime example. Today diversity in the workplace has been warped into reverse discrimination to say the least. People get rewarded often not because of their accomplishments and hard work, but based off of what their race is so companies can make their so-called quotas. What ever happened to working hard to get ahead? The ideals and values of the Christian religion are often attacked while other religions are often treated with kid gloves. Like I stated before there was a girl in school who was told to draw a picture on how her family celebrated Christmas. She drew a nativity scene and all hell broke lose. In December 2001, while Christmas cards, symbols and decorations were being objected to in American public schools in the states of Georgia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Minnesota and Oregon. However at an elementary school in Texas a girl was allowed to give to her classmates a oral report which included a video about her Muslim religion. Everything from Santa Claus to the firefighters of 9.11 have come under attack. You can’t tell me that Political Correctness isn’t out of control.
All of these dangerous concepts and ideas are slowly being indoctrinated in our public school systems. It seems that any religion, but the Muslim religion, is not allowed within the school’s walls. Students are required to recognize and understand the cruel and inhuman examples in history like the holocaust and in modern Iraq, but communism is no where to be found on that list. The Founding Fathers and the principles and values this country was formed on seem to be fading away out of the American history classes, but the radical movement of the 60’s is well taught.
Americans are generally good people. When push comes to shove we step up to the plate. Even in bad economic times we give more to charitable causes than any other country. We genuinely care and show compassion on a daily basis. We know right from wrong. So what ever happened to living our lives with common sense, dignity, and respect? Why do we allow the progressives in this country to tell us what is right and wrong? We are now living in a nanny state that strives to control every aspect of our lives including our thinking. We have sat by quietly far too long and let the left in this country erode away at the core values of this great Republic using political correctness. It’s time to see this monster for what it really is, educate everyone we know, and put a stop to it before it changes the face of America forever.
“History affords us many instances of the ruin of states, by the prosecution of measures ill suited to the temper and genius of their people. The ordaining of laws in favor of one part of the nation, to the prejudice and oppression of another, is certainly the most erroneous and mistaken policy. An equal dispensation of protection, rights, privileges, and advantages, is what every part is entitled to, and ought to enjoy... These measures never fail to create great and violent jealousies and animosities between the people favored and the people oppressed; whence a total separation of affections, interests, political obligations, and all manner of connections, by which the whole state is weakened.” -Ben Franklin 1774

Faith: Our Only Hope!
Recently I did a show that didn’t come off to well technically for me. I think not only did I have some technical problems with the show itself I was almost too emotional about the subject matter. It is something that hits me hard when I think about it because I know deep down in my heart that I am right on this issue. You see the topic I did my show on was the original problem I America…the one that has been going on for far too long and the reason why we are in such turmoil in this country today and that is this country’s attack on religion and it’s lack of faith. You see despite what you may have heard from the Washington Elite and the lamestream media we are a Judea-Christian nation with our traditions, laws, and lives deeply entrenched in Christian faith. If you read anything our Founding Fathers wrote you will see references to God and religion. They strongly believed it was through the grace of God himself that allowed such a nation to be born. In exchange for a free republic we owed him nothing but our respect for his kindness. Today organized religion is targeted by the progressive movement and God has become public enemy number one!
So what do we do now? Well first and foremost we must renew our faith. We need to look deep down into ourselves and become comfortable with who we are and what we believe. We must then drop to our knees and pray for strength, protection from evil, and guidance on how to continue to defend our Republic. If you truly have faith then you will feel his answer without a doubt. I have that’s why I know it will work for you as well. Then we must make decisions with both common sense and our heart. I know what you are thinking right now…you think I’m being foolish, but I’m telling you that it will work. If you truly have faith then you will hear God…not as a voice in your head, but a feeling of being on the right track. The progressive movement needs to destroy our faith. Ultimately they are driven by evil. Evil in the form of power and greed. In order to gain more power and control they must eliminate our faith in what is good. Second what do we have left when we lose our homes, our jobs, and everything we own. We are left with nothing but our faith because that will never be taken from us. Faith gives us strength and allows us to do anything as long as our faith is strong. For example faith helped a group of colonists rise up against tyranny and form a nation and army that defeated the most powerful military force in the world and create a truly free nation. Strong principles, values, and faith in God will save us this time around the trick is getting people to realize something that is so blatantly staring us in the face.
I’m afraid my friends. I’m afraid of our future. The time to strike is almost upon us. The progressives with their Washington cronies continue to attack us, play their race cards, ignore us, and try to control us. Not a day goes by that we don’t see some evidence of just that. You must wake up and see this. I pray that everyone does. This next election in November 2010 will be the turning point. I strongly feel that the conservatives in this country will continue to sit by and wait for this election to see changes in our country…and I mean real change for the good of the Republic. This will not happen. Not all the incumbents that need to go will be removed from office. There will be voting corruption and intimidation. The progressives will pretend to be Jesus and suddenly voters will rise from the dead and cast their ballots for the progressive liberals trying so desperately to hold on to their power. The people that do get in riding the wave of the TEA party movement and manipulating the good common sense of the American people will turn to the dark side so to speak like Scott Brown did before them. We will not see the Congress we expected and with Obama at the helm they will steam roll more freedom stealing bills through and make them laws. Before you know it the good patience of the American people will break and that’s when there will be trouble. At that point what are you going to do? Will you roll over and take what they are doing to you or will you stand with your fellow Americans as the true caretakers of the Republic and fight for your liberties and your freedom? What are you going to do? That is why we must start to renew and strengthen our faith. We have no choice. We must renew our faith and ask ourselves what are we prepared to do in the time of crisis here in America?
I am not promoting violence against our government not one bit…I’m a realist and I see it coming and I’m not going to be caught off guard! To hell with it anymore! Red flag me…tap my phones…put me on your CIA hit list President Obama I don’t care. Why because I am an American and I believe in the idea of freedom! I believe in the idea of America! I have faith that I know that God himself strengthens me and will stand with me as I defend this Republic and secure the futures of my children! I have a message for you President Obama one that I strongly suggest you pass on to your progressive cronies that pull your strings…you have pushed and pushed the American people and now we are stronger than ever and one day we will push back so hard you will have no choice but to run! It’s building up you can almost feel it in the air here in America…patriots we must focus on our inner strength and our faith! Because we will need it soon enough!

A Cleveland Conservative’s view point on Lebron James
Okay okay I understand what some of you are thinking. Why am I blogging about this I mean after all it’s not politics and who cares right? Well to those of us that live in Cleveland it was a big deal, but that’s not why I’m writing today. I’m using what has happened to Cleveland sports and Lebron James himself to prove a few points that I think serve as perfect examples to what is going on not only in our nation today, but the world. I’m also talking alittle more specifically about Ohio itself. The issue for me isn’t about James deciding to leave and play for someone else. No that’s fine as a matter of fact that was inevitable to say the least. The issue is how he did it and like it or not it’s a direct example of how principles and values are not the main force behind most Americans making decisions today. See words like loyalty and respect were thrown out in this whole mess. Even though some of the people using those words don’t really know how they apply to the situation they are absolutely correct. Respect is the first one I would like to tackle. He didn’t have enough respect for the fans of this city to thank them on his special he had on ESPN. It wasn’t until a backlash on the net started to happen he came back for another ten minute interview to talk about the fans reactions that he even considered thanking them. Also he planned this with Bosh and Wade for years and didn’t have enough team loyalty to number one still play hard as a Cavs team member and number two be upfront with the organization to say hey I’m not interested in staying. He also broke his many promises when he said in the past he would not give up until he brought a championship to Cleveland. See my friends this is part of the problem today. To many people can easily be influenced by fame, power, money, and glory. We don’t stay true to our core values and principles. It’s the core values and principles that define who we are as individuals. Now James leaving Cleveland for a better situation isn’t any different then the thousands of people each year that are picking up and leaving Ohio. This high profile move should serve as an example that the democratic progressive movement that has controlled Cuyahoga County for the past 20 years has done nothing to solve it’s problems it has just multiplied them. Ohio as a state has been on the wrong path for years and the people of Ohio need to wake up and re-examine it’s leadership. We have the potential to improve our state and the condition it’s in economically, but our elected officials have done nothing but sit on their asses and exploited the system for their own personal gain. NO wonder James ran to Miami…hell I would of too in his situation…just alittle differently. The point is my friends is this. James showed nothing but a lack of character, egotism, and his position as a negative role model to our children by lying to the owners of the Cavs about seriously considering their offer and publicly humiliating Cleveland on a national level. Like it or not Mr. Lebron James you are a role model for kids. It doesn’t matter who you play for, but you still need to be a stand up guy and show the kids you influence that he you should at least try to be a person who cherishes principles and values. It’s because you failed to do just that I am an upset Clevelander and nothing more. Am I disappointed you won’t be wearing a Cavs jersey next year…yeah but if you stayed true to your principles and values I would defend you decision whole heartedly. But man you didn’t you lied, humiliated us, and showed that you were driven by fortune and glory and not what counts. People will not remember your antics on the court as much as they will remember what you stood for off the court. SO in conclusion Mr. James I want to say this to you. Thank you! Thank your for setting an example to the world on the type of person we shouldn’t be. Thank you for pointing out how not to act. That living and making decisions without principles and values will do nothing but hurt yourself and the people who look up to you in the end. Thank you for helping to point out to Ohio how bad things are that even someone as successful as you knows we are on the wrong path and want to get out. Good Luck Lebron James. I hope you achieve your goals in life, but will success be as sweet as it would be if you didn’t give into the greed and power. I don’t think it would be.

Independence Day 2010
July 4th is a day of reflection. Lost in the middle of bar-b-ques, friends, family, beer, and explosives is the true meaning of the day. The most important holiday to all Americans have fallen in the category of lost meanings like Christmas and Easter. Like I said it is a day of reflection for all of us that live in this great Republic. It is the day chosen to honor the sacrifices of our Founding Fathers and a celebration of freedom. When Thomas Jefferson reluctantly took upon himself the task of writing what he knew was going to be the most important document I this nation’s history he had only one driving force behind him…that force was liberty. Our Founding Fathers understood the importance of freedom and believed so much in the cause that they sacrificed everything. Those names on the bottom of the Declaration of Independence risked their lives for if the Continental army failed they would all be put to death for treason under the British crown. They were human, they were afraid, and were uncertain of the outcome…but their cause burned deep inside them the strength of the sun. So today reflect on this nation’s history and ask yourself what freedom means to you. After all without freedom we would not have the lives we have now…even through the most difficult times…you may be without a job, or lost your home…you still live free with no master in control of your own destiny. Remember the immortal words of William Wallace “they may take our lives, but they will never take our freedom!”
In these most difficult times with so many enemies of liberty at our gates it is crucial for all of us to once again capture the spirit of patriotism and unite like the men and women of the original 13 colonies did back 1776. I know that at times when you look at the images of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin you may see figures larger than life. Heroes from our history that did what seemed to be the impossible. To not be deceived by the legends of these great Founding Fathers. They were great and achieved great things, however they were human. They did not always want to do the things that the events of the Revolutionary War and the birth of this great Republic forced them to do. They wanted to live their lives peacefully with their families, but the cause of liberty was too great to ignore. We had to be free that was the grand design of God himself…we had to fight tyranny in it’s purest form. Our Founding Fathers were afraid and had doubts…they felt at times that they had an impossible task in front of them, but they had faith and with that faith they accomplished the impossible. They are truly an inspiration to us all.
So on Independence Day 2010 please I implore you to take out a few minutes to give thanks to the Founding Fathers for their sacrifices in the name of liberty. Take time to reflect on what it truly means to be free. Take a few minutes to read the document that started it all…the Declaration of Independence. As free Americans that is the least we can do!
